There isn't really a 1-to-1 correspondence between leagues and
organizations.  The league has a governing body property to link to
the organization.

For American big four sports leagues (where most of the modeling
started), there's usually a one-to-one correspondence, but it'd
probably be more flexible to model things the football (soccer) way.
