[Freebase-discuss] Alias needed on /automotive/platform

I'd say NO to adding "Monocoque" as an alias, since to my research and
understanding, it is the construction technique not necessarily a
style (first used in aircraft construction) that just happened to also
be borrowed again to construct unit body, or uni-body styles in
automobiles. More correctly I say "a uni-body style is derived from a
monocoque construction technique"
A quick google book search across the 19th century tells me "monocoque
construction" & "monocoque shape" were the applied terms used.
@book{1845scientific,
title={{Scientific American}},
number={v. 248},
lccn={04017574},

year={1845},
publisher={Scientific American, inc.}
}
So, adding "Monocoque" would incorrectly conflate the use of the term, I think.
