[Freebase-discuss] Arrangements v. adaptations (of musical compositions)

When should I us e the 'arrangement'  property of a composition and
when add an 'adapted work' type?

Considering, say, Liszt: there are mnany works he reworked/revised
under the same or different names presenting them individually and as
parts of other larger works, in various combinations (waste not want
not?).

He also wrote transcriptions (e.g. piano versions of orchestral works)
of pieces (his own and other composers).

and freer fantasies/paraphrases/variations on themes - his own and
other composers.

He was a busy man! But should it be modeled ? Hopefully, consistently
and avoiding arbitrary distinctions?

I think I'd like to model all such relationships through  'adapted
works' and not use the 'arrangement' property at all  (no-one else
has!)
