Answering my own post here ...  It just started working normally, showing recently created types in the autocomplete box.  Perhaps this was a caching issue?  But I&#39;d previously tried invoking the touch service from my browser and (presumably the same thing) selecting &#39;Refresh cache&#39; from the F8 developers&#39;  box without success.<br>
