I, too, like what you've done with the frames -- quick and easy, gets things mostly done. One downside I've found, though, is if you're working with a recurring event that doesn't already have topics in Freebase/Wikipedia/etc, you don't get dates for them. For example, I loaded instances of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and though they're called "1999 Melbourne International Comedy Festival" and the like, they don't have dates.</div><div><br></div><div>I just talked to Jeff and we just decided to make start date and end date disambiguators on Event, so that should help there. You could make a second field for start date which is the year, which will help at least a bit. Then people who know the exact dates can get more specific if they want.</div><div><br></div><div>Hopefully this disambiguator thing will also help expose missing data on other topic pages on Freebase, and encourage people to fill stuff in without going to the event's topic page itself.</div><div><br></div><div>K.</div><div><br></div><div apple-content-edited="true"> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-align: auto; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0; "><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-family: Helvetica; font-size: 12px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: normal; orphans: 2; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 2; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-horizontal-spacing: 0px; -webkit-border-vertical-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-decorations-in-effect: none; -webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; "><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; "><div>-- </div><div>Kirrily Robert</div><div>Freebase Community Director</div><div><a href="mailto:kirrily@metaweb.com">kirrily@metaweb.com</a></div><div><a href="http://freebase.com/">http://freebase.com/</a></div><div><br class="webkit-block-placeholder"></div></div></span><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"></div></span><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"> </div><br></body></html>
