It’s no big issue for me to deal with (just involves storing and tracking the “strange-namespace” <=> “good-namespace” relation) but I guess I’m still unsure as to why such a confusing conflict that (so far as I can see) has no positive merits would be kept as a feature... <BR>

Actually all that is going on here is that /guid/<BR>
9202a8c04000641f800000000017cb7a (JPMorgan Chase & Co.) has several<BR>
keys and the data dump is using a different algorithm than MQL to<BR>
resolve it. The .tsv files use MQL, the triple dump uses a different<BR>
technique.<BR>

To compound the confusion, the namespace /user/tsegaran/sec is<BR>
actually the same as /business/cik which is its "official" name.<BR>

So in your third example, if you pass in a specific id in a MQL query<BR>
you always get that same one back.<BR>
