The trick that I use, which I think Philip hinted at in some forum, is:

- go to the explore view
- look for an ID of the form "OLnnnnnn"
- select it and search the web for it (right click in my browser)
- go to the author page and look at the book titles
- make a judgement as to whether it's the same or not

Of course if it's an author with a bizarre given name like "Uffa" you
might just decide they're the same automatically. :-)
