This would appear to contradict what I've been told by others - that
only wikipedia text which is part of the anchor text for a link is
indexed. That is apparently why you can sometimes search on birth
dates (if the wikipedia author linked them back to the "people born in
<year>" or "people born on this day" page) and sometimes not. The
reasons for this variability aren't apparent to the casual observer
(at least they weren't to me).
Tom Clancy's middle name is included in structured data as part of the
'alias' property, so perhaps that's why he's included in the search
example.
