I'm happy to help out, but I don't mind working through the patch
process as long as there's someone there to receive them. I just
didn't want to be hacking on on something abandoned while everyone
else was off working in a different direction.
The ReadMe mentions that this libraries are used internally. Is the
code.google.com source repository the canonical one or kept actively
in sync with the canonical one? In the 'eating your own dog food'
tradition, that might help keep them up to date.
I'll work on splitting my mods up into independent patches that can be
attached to separate issues.
