There will soon be "2.0" of Freebase Suggest based on that code.

We haven't set up stable urls for these new files yet, which is why we
haven't announced a new
Freebase Suggest yet. Hopefully this week.
My suggestion would be to use those suggest.freebaseapps.com URLs for
now, but just know that
the URL will likely change in the next week or two... the
functionality and API should not be
dramatically changing, however.
I apologize for the confusion... we do intend to support Freebase
Suggest going forward
much more than we have in the past... it's just been a bit messy in
the interim.
