[Developers] RDF abnd URIs in Freebase?

Hi all,

Am I correct in understanding that the Freebase data is stored Semantically (in a graph) and
that every entity like "The Police" has its own Ffreebase URI?  If so, can I possibly get
the RDF for the individual band "The Police?"

Additionally, some knowledge bases/ontologies allow people to download the knowlede bases.
Is this something that is possible to do in Freebase?  In other words, can I download 
the data (In RDF or however the data is represented) for a specific topic or all the topics?
