we are still early in development for the excel tool. We'd love to have your input on it when its closer to available -- we can give you a peek at the new tool early in 2009.

I'm looking to import a series of data sets that would be greatly facilitated by the Freebase Excel import tool. Specifically, I am adding products to the companies in my base, for example: http://bioventurist.freebase.com/view/base/bioventurist/views/pfizer$0027s_pipeline . Each product contains a series of data, and a table import (as opposed to the list import) is necessary. It's possible to use mqlwrites for this process, but I really would like the import to be semi-manual like the list import. In addition, I don't realistically have the time to develop a complex import tool right now. Is it possible to have access to the Freebase Excel tool to enter data? Recognizing that the tool is not released, I'd be very happy to help find and report bugs.
