The theatrical adaptation is showing; I must have just missed it before. I
notice that the award is showing now too -- just winners for now, I'm
guessing, since I don't see nominees elsewhere.  Re cotypes, I also noticed
that "written work" is not showing up (see Brave New World (the book)), so
that authors are not shown for their books, stories, etc. but written works
are showing if you view the author.

thanks for the feedback. 
1) and 2) are known bugs. 
3) the theatrical adaptation should show, please check again. Awards don't
show up because I've filtered them out at the moment - this will change
soon. The combination of all film related types is due to the fact that I'm
using the key ("film") instead of the properties name ("Film actor", "Film
director", ...) - should be solved as soon as 2) is solved.
4) was also suggested by Ed. Possibly in a future release. Note that you are
already able to drag the nodes to different locations, even though this is
quite limited as they automatically rearrange.

"award-winning work"). For Gene Kelly, it appears that the properties for
all his film-related types (film actor, film director, film writer, film
producer) are handled by a single link, "film", making it impossible to
differentiate which movies he did what on. His Oscar is also not displayed.


 
4) I'd love it if, when you dragged a node around on the screen, it stayed
where you put it -- on crowded screens, the lines tend to intersect, making
it hard to tell what's going on. If I could drag the nodes I was interested
around, it would make it easier to tell what was going on.

Hi All,

I've just added a new Freebase application: "Thinkbase"
(http://thinkbase.cs.auckland.ac.nz)

Thinkbase is a visual navigation and exploration tool for Freebase. The
application is divided into two frames. The left frame displays an
interactive visual representation of the Freebase contents and its semantic
relationships in the form of a graph. Each node in the graph represents a
Freebase article. The right frame displays the corresponding articles in
Freebase. Further features, such as expanding / collapsing nodes and
performing a search in Wikipedia or Google, are accessible through the
context menu (right click on nodes). See the 'About' page for more details.
