To answer your first question:

A list of (at least some of) the information sources used in, or at
least considered for Freebase can be found as instances of our
"Information Source" type:

http://www.freebase.com/view/dataworld/information_source

This is a type for real world entities rather than strictly a list of
websites with "mashupable" APIs.  Also, we don't include data in
Freebase from sources for which there is an incompatible license.

I'm not sure if this answers your question.  However, it'd be great if
you wanted to create a "Web mashup info source" type and fill it in
with instances that you find.
