[Developers] Ambiguities in /film domain

I'm working on a movies viewer, and I'm finding a number of data issues.

1. A person can be represented by more than one object. For instance,
the screenwriter Willard Huyck is mostly here:

http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f8000000004733993

but also here:

http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f80000000010cb1eb

2. Two people with the same name result in data that is scattered, and  
there's
a lot of ambiguity. For example, there are two Paul Verhoevens in the  
database.
The well-known Dutch director:

http://www.freebase.com/view/en/paul_verhoeven

and the lesser known German actor:

http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f8000000000bbaab7

Movies like Starship Troopers (http://www.freebase.com/view/user/hal/netflix/movie/1181616 
)
and Robocop (http://www.freebase.com/view/en/robocop) list them both  
as directors.


It's pretty easy to find other examples.


I appreciate the way in which this situation has arisen and also that  
there isn't
an immediate or easy fix, but this is a problem. I guess this isn't  
news, so
does Freebase have any plans to rectify these kinds of issues, or is  
it just
going to be left to the community to fix them as they're encountered?
