[Developers] Authenticating

There's a problem with authentication that I fear may be a big enough
challenge to keep some useful domains from sprouting up.

For instance, say I make a new 'Foo' domain, and new '/Foo/Foo-People' and
'/Bar/Bar-People' types, where '/People/Person' is an expected co-type.

There's no way for me to authenticate that the Person from the People domain
is actually a foo or a bar person.

In other words, there is no good way to trust users to 'claim' a person, or
a business.

Is this correct? Am I missing a best practice?
