Hey, Vishal. I see that someone has already added back Musical Artist to Sting, so that’s cleared up.
What happened here is that we split out pseudonyms from real identities; strictly, Sting is a pseudonym for Gordon Sumner, who is a musical artist. This distinction is to allow us to note all the recordings (or written works, or sculptures, or...) by an artist and also to note the correct credits for them.
However, in a few cases where the pseudonym is better-known than the real name of the performer (as for Sting and also Bob Dylan), the split wasn’t clean, and so things are in a half-baked condition right now.
Comments on the Pseudonym type, its use, and its implications are all welcome, though probably better suited for the data modelers’ list or on the type itself.
