[Developers] Question about the Dump data, and the escape character

Dear all,
   This is my first message in this nice mail list.
I download the dump data and I try to prcoess it and insert it into SQL Server. but I face a problem!
I found a lot of lines content \\\", \", and \\\\ I think it's escape character but the escape character that I know content only one back slash then can anyone help me to interpret this, if anyone know please send a table or something to map it to real character.
