Keep in mind that most of our users are using the Freebase.com Web site, 
not the data dumps.  Multiple IDs referring to a single entity are 
important in the case that a user type or domain gets promoted to the 
commons, or two entities merge.

The inconsistency between the tuples and the total dump is annoying, but 
as preferred IDs may change over time, it is definitely recommended to 
be able to handle that in your software.
