[Developers] write query error

Using the query editor aplication , I created a type of my own and I am 
trying to create a new topic with this type but I can't.
I  get errors such as :

      "message" : "Can't locate this clause - cannot continue"


can anybody please send me 2 queries, one for creating a simple type of 
my own
and a second one for inserting a topic of this type.
