[Developers] Permission on /type/media_type

Hi,

 

My application was able to insert audio/scpls as a new /type/media_type
in the sandbox, but it failed in the live database.

 

Using the website I don't have permissions to add media types either in
the sandbox or the live database.

 

Is that intentional? For testing it would be ideal if the sandbox would
enforce the same permissions as the live database.
