I think it makes sense for these to evolve according to your needs  
rather than our view of the world.

That said, I'd love to help out in whatever way we can (perhaps  
promoting these standards as they settle?).  I'm personally not  
enough of a programmer to help develop a standard like this, but if  
you have specific questions for Metaweb folks, I'd be more than happy  
to try to find answers for you.
