Thanks again for the valuable feedback. I have released yet another version:

This version adds range filtering for integers, floating point numbers 
and dates.

I've rushed a little more than I like with this version, as I'll be on 
vacation for a few weeks starting Friday morning. If you notice issues, 
please let me know and I'll fix them promptly.
