[Data-modeling] Rivalry ~ Just a base of views or type(s)?

I've added a few. Searching for 'Controversy' brings up a lot of
candidates, but I wasn't too sure if controversial things are always
rivalries, so haven't typed many. Controversy does split opinion and
creates rival groups with opposing opinions. Does 'controversy' fall into
the definition we are using for Rivalry? e.g. Does the Electric Dylan
Controversy <http://www.freebase.com/view/en/electric_dylan_controversy>count
as a rivalry - would the rivals be Folk music fans vs Rock n' Roll
fans?
Also when using the Rivals property it works well for 2 rivals, but doesn't
make clear distinction for more than two rivals, particularly when noting
allies and foes.
I suggest the link between Rivalry and Rival be a CVT called "Rival
relationship" which has a property for "Rival" and "Rival of" and is also
time mediated, so changing allegiances can be shown?
