Well, I feel dopey now. I read this thread, and thought, "that should be simple", so I created a property for "Organization Type", rather than "organization structure". So, before I go deleting it, I thought I'd check to see if anyone thinks it's a useful type to have anyway, or whether it should go back to the ether.

Similarly, I had started to look at collectives, e.g. http://collectives.freebase.com/view/en/bloomsbury_group , and had created a base for this http://collectives.freebase.com/
Is a collective just an organization with a particular organizational structure? i.e. should instead be classed as an organization?
Would it be worth having an organization structure property to categorize different sorts of organizations? See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Types_of_organization
That seems sensible.
