Hi Tom,
Nothing is "finished" on Freebase -- that's the point of community
participation and contribution. Especially when you step outside of the
Commons (which are not "done" either), you'll generally find Bases in
some form or other of "in progress".
The point of the link is to point out the fact that other users have
expressed interest in the same thing (as in your previous email), either
by creating or joining the base. Feel free to post a discussion there.
Many types on Freebase have been designed and filled out on a "as
needed" or "by request" basis, and your invitation to another user to
collaborate may just be the answer the community has been waiting for!
