You're quite right; the fact that this one didn't simply slipped  
through, as it certainly should have, and does now.

I should also point out that there's been lengthy discussion of the  
projects schema on this mailing list in the last few weeks, as well as  
discussion of the intended use by the architecture commons over on the  
Freebase.com discussions, so it's not as if this was done quietly.
