[Data-modeling] how much work done on modeling of personal names -- even for surname + given name?

"This type is used for notable families that can be discretely defined  
(such as royal houses, the Guggenheim family, the Sulzbergers, etc.)   
It is distinct from "family name" which more broadly defines people  
with the same surname."
