Why not start with
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Electrical_components or some
derivative?  That would allow things to get automatically typed
(hopefully).

I just added a dozen or so components off the top of my head and none
of them were typed, so this looks like a completely greenfield effort.

p.s. I wasn't sure about 'flux capacitor.'  It sure sounds like an
electronic component though. :-)
