[Data-modeling] electricity in the commons

We don't currently have any types in the commons for things related to  
electricity.  I'm working on modeling locomotives, and for electric  
locomotive classes I need to specify the kind of system they use: AC  
or DC.  This is obviously a simple enumerated type but it seems like  
rather than putting it in my rail base it would be better to call on  
something more centralised.

If we were to build a Commons domain to contain that type, what other  
types could you have along with it, and what would you call the  
Commons?  I made a start on a base at http://electric.freebase.com/  
but any comments would be very welcome, as it's not really my field.
