True, I think we would have to be pretty careful about these mappings.

I've attached the 123 matches at the bottom of this email in  
plaintext.  Clearly not all of these are profession equivalents, but  
it may be worthwhile to discuss which might be.

I've annotated the list at the end of this email.  In general, it  
seems that a mapping from a profession to a type is safer than the  
other way around because somebody can be an amateur yet still be typed  
(say, a "tennis player" or "translator".)

A left caret "<" means that the profession can map to the type.  A  
right caret ">" means the type can map to the profession.
