This isn't exactly true -- the music that appears on the soundtrack is
generally a subset of the music that appears in the picture, if there was a
soundtrack released at all. Not that I think this means that a "featured
song" property isn't a good idea, but making it unique might keep people
from entering "Knock on Wood" and "La Marseillaise" alongside "As Time Goes
By".
