[Data-modeling] Databases

"Database website" is still a work in progress. Maybe it should be named
"Database home page" now? Originally, it was meant to describe a database
that can be accessed online as opposed to one that sits off the net. That
started getting messy. Now I have it set as the home page for a database,
regardless of whether the database is accessible online or not. Currently
I've set this as a Topic instead of Webpage so that it can contain
properties such as links to other pages, including any data portals, and can
reciprocate with the database. The Database website may or may not be a
website (i.e., it could be a page within a site). Examples of its current
use:

Online database
Avian Knowledge Network
(Database)<http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f800000000813e6e0>
Avian Knowledge Network (Database
website)<http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f800000000813e685>the
home page of the database

Offline database
Global Ant Database
(Database)<http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f800000000813db6f>
Global Ant Collaboration (Database
website)<http://www.freebase.com/view/guid/9202a8c04000641f800000000813db63>the
page that describes the database among other things

I am completely open to changing any of this.
