The basic structure looks pretty good, from a high-level review, anyway. I'm
not sure I understand the "database website" type, though. Can you point us
to an example with the properties filled in?

Subject: [Data-modeling] Databases

I created a generic Database
<http://www.freebase.com/tools/schema/user/spatialed/database/database> type
to describe various databases that I find. This type is more generic than
bio2rdf's <http://www.freebase.com/view/user/bio2rdf/default_domain/bm>
bioinformatics database type, which was the only other one I could find. I
created a new Database
<http://www.freebase.com/view/user/spatialed/database> domain to hold it and
the types that make up its properties (and a database
<http://www.freebase.com/tools/schema/user/spatialed/database/database_websi
te> website type that is a container for database and website co-types). I'm
interested to hear what people think about these and how they can be
improved. I left a message for bio2rdf about the possibility of breaking his
specialty type into a couple co-types that separate out his specialty
properties from these generic ones. Otherwise there will be several
redundanci es.

Thanks,
-Ed
