Agreed.  One problem this can solve is, "what do you call something
when it doesn't have a name in your language?"  Which you resolve
by choosing one of the native names.

So, for example, if you're looking at Vienna in /lang/xx and there
is no xx name for "Vienna", you should probably see "Wien" - what
people who live in Vienna actually call it.
