I would probably agree with "original title" for a creative work.
But to me it seems that there is a more fundamental issue of the 
"native" name/title for ANY topic in the system.
Consider the simplest example - peoples names - there is always the 
native language/script for the persons name.
I would propose that ANY topic in freebase have a "native language( or 
script)" property that links it to
the appropriate native /lang/?? _OR_ there may be reasons to link to a 
/language/human_language/?? instead
Lets say for example a topic on myself would be titled:

Yuriy Grinberg
[native lang RU - Юрий Гринберг]

where "native RU" may be omitted or displayed as an icon or shown in a 
mouse over,
and of course the UI would have to support input/edit of this property
