I should add, to clarify here, that we were thinking that "profession" would be a property on "Person" while the full employment history would be a property on "Public person".  That seemed reasonable to us when we were thinking it through, though as Bryan points out, it could make it quite easy to accidentally type someone as a "public person" without knowing you were doing it.
