OK... can you tell me, or can you prototype in your own domain, how you would model that?  Would you have an integer-valued property, “number of still runs”?  Or some kind of recipe compound value type?

Also, how much information is really available on this?  Even with the amount I know about single malt Scotch, the bottles, boxes, and books I’ve consulted, I couldn’t tell you how many actual distillations make up a 12-year Glenlivet.  While it is nice to have complete, precise, rigorous models for everything, it is a bit premature if the data to populate it isn’t readily available.  Conversely, if you can point me to a source for this data, it will make the modeling much easier.
