Seems like 'associated with' is vague enough that it might need extra
annotation - perhaps this should be a CVT.. i.e. by "association", is
it "when correlated with another gene", "when exposed to environmental
condition X?" or "95% of the time when someone has this gene they get
sick"?
I'm sure this could get arbitrarily complex fast, and initially
there wouldn't be much more than 'association' but a CVT could future-
proof the property for later use...
Maybe you could just have an 'association type' type hanging off such
a CVT, and see where people take it?
