Interesting, and a good catch, Shawn.  Various Artists is artist number 1 in MusicBrainz, and Deleted Artist is number 2, but [unknown] is hiding down at 97546 and was overlooked in our import.  The unknown-ness of an artist credit should be handled by simply not asserting an artist; I’ve marked this prolific band for deletion.
