[Data-modeling] Adding a date/time CVT to organization members

I think Robert's responded to the underlying issues behind your question,
but to answer the specific question, there are actually a lot of properties
for which values will not change over time. Here's a list, just off the top
of my head:

Most properties on creative works -- author of a poem, performer on a
musical track, media of a painting, cover artist for an edition of a book,
director of a film, etc.
Contents of a magazine issue
Parent/Child/siblings (of a person or other organism)
Vineyard a vintage of wine's grapes were from
Maximum force of a (past) cyclone's winds
