[Data-modeling] Delegated disambiguation properties to import data

Periodical Publication Date is not a literal, but a CVT. And there is no
way to delegate the properties of the expected type of a delegated property.
You should be able to delegate actual literals, though -- if you can't, it's
a bug.

Subject: [Data-modeling] Delegated disambiguation properties to import data

I would like to use the import tool to import selected Magazine issue
properties (I'm a modeler but not a programmer). I was going to do this by
creating a new schema, include the Magazine issue type, use disambiguation
for the delegated properties I want to import, import a table I formatted in
Excel, and then delete the import schema. However, it does not seem possible
to delegate literal properties (e.g., date for Periodical Publication Date).
Is this true, and if so, is there a work-around?
